2021 Season Recap!

This year, 2021, was Tyson’s 12th season of flying ag and the 10th season with the company we work for. It was one of our worst seasons yet, but that’s how this business it. We are entirely at the mercy of mother nature and we had record temps and drought this year. If it is dry, we typically aren’t very busy as most of our customers have their own ground rigs (basically a tractor with a spray tank and booms kind of like the airplane). If it’s wet, Farmers can’t get into their fields so they hire the plane. 

Even on our worst year, we were still fortunate to do ok and we know that it’s part of it. We save on the good years so we can make it through the bad ones. The only guarantee in Ag Aviation is that nothing is guaranteed. 

Anyways, check out this little recap video we did at the end of the season. We need to do these at the end of every season so we can look back in 10 years and remember.
